The only respectable figure in British politics has announced that he has 'a little bone to pick with' Sega regarding
the unannounced Shenmue 4 Count BinfacePoliticsSegaShenmue III By Lewis Parker Published July 22, 2026 | Comments (4) |
𝕏 Copied! © Sega / Getty Images Count Binface, Britain’s most beloved and least corrupt politician, has been
making waves in the media over the past month ever since it became astoundingly likely that the trashcan-headed
candidate will win the upcoming 2026 Clacton by-election. However, the man/bin of the people is now making headlines for
a far more noble goal, as the self-dubbed Leader of the Recyclons recently announced that he has “a little bone to
pick with” Sega, whom he chastised for closing its SegaWorld London theme park and for leaving Shenmue fans “on
another cliffhanger for years.” Finally, a reason to feel proud to be British. This news was spotted last night by
Metro, but, controversially, the actual source of the video in question is the Shenmue Dojo fansite. This is potentially
dubious because, as Metro theorizes, it could mean that the honorable and upstanding Count Binface was paid to produce
this video by Shenmue fans via his Cameo page. That would mean that Count Binface is no better than the Reform UK
leader, Nigel Farage, who recently had to resign from his position as Clacton’s representative member of parliament
after failing to report a ÂŁ5 million (roughly $6.7 million) gift that he had received from the cryptocurrency
billionaire Christopher Harborne. 🚨 BREAKING: @countbinface.bsky.social has cast his vote for Shenmue and now he has
a message for @sega-west.bsky.social and @sega.jp The campaign continues. The people have spoken. #LetsGetShenmue4
— Shenmue Dojo (@shenmuedojo.com) 2026-07-20T18:02:16.963Z “I wonder whether Sega needs to be nationalized along
with Adele,” Count Binface stated in the Shenmue Dojo‘s video. “But I digress. The point is, the
Shenmue fans are amazing, Sega! You need to get your bottoms in gear, sort yourselves out, and get [Shenmue 4]
done.” For context, one of Binface’s many policies, alongside things like conscripting “people who use
speakerphones on public transport” and making himself “the UK’s entrant at Eurovision 2027,” is
“the nationalization of” British singer Adele. Before you ask, nobody is quite sure what “nationalizing” Adele
entails. Oh, actually—maybe you were hoping for some context about Shenmue, and not British politics. It’s actually
been quite a while since we heard about the possibility of a follow-up to Shenmue III, although a fake, AI-generated
trailer for Shenmue IV did briefly fool fans into thinking a new game had been announced back in 2025. There is,
however, Shenmue III Enhanced, a remastered version of the 2019 release of Shenmue III, which publisher Inin Games
announced last year and said would be dropping at some point in “Q4 2026.” That’s not too far off, and we
haven’t heard anything about the project since, so I understand why the notoriously dedicated Shenmue fanbase has
resorted to bribing Count Binface for an update. 🕹️ Level up your inbox Don’t miss the latest reviews, news and
