2026 2 min read Rich Dad Poor Dad author Robert Kiyosaki has issued yet another crash warning, though the message is the

same one he has pushed for years. Robert Kiyosaki, an American investor best known for his Rich Dad Poor Dad series of

personal finance books, says the global economy “is crashing,” reviving a two-decade-old prediction that has

become the foundation of his repeated pitch for Bitcoin, gold and silver. For Kiyosaki, nearly every market warning

leads to the same conclusion. Buy the assets he calls “real money” before the financial system falls apart. In an X

post on Wednesday, he wrote: “Please remember, it’s not too late to make changes now. Please remember in every

crash many people are wiped out and a few people get richer.” Kiyosaki offered no data, timeline or specific

trigger, and this time, the post didn’t even mention cryptocurrency. But still, the crypto angle is hard to miss since

Kiyosaki has spent years arguing that fiat currencies and financial products built on institutional trust will

Warning: Here Are His 5 Biggest Predictions Ever Earlier this month, he warned that assets requiring trust, including

government bonds, exchange-traded funds, mutual funds and retirement accounts, “will be destroyed in the coming

crash and possible Depression.” In late 2025, he predicted Bitcoin would reach $250,000 in 2026 and said he would

continue buying it even through sharp declines. A Prophecy With a Flexible Deadline Kiyosaki’s latest claim rests on

Rich Dad’s Prophecy, which argued that a massive stock market crash could arrive when the first baby boomers turned 70

in 2016 and began drawing down their retirement savings. That collapse didn’t arrive on schedule, though. Kiyosaki’s

own financial-education company later recast the pandemic-driven market crash of March 2020 as the prophecy coming true,

saying the original forecast had simply missed by four years. That makes his crash thesis difficult to disprove. When

markets fall, the collapse has begun. When they recover, central banks merely delayed it by printing money. Hence, his

latest post isn’t really a new Bitcoin forecast but another round of the same permanent collapse narrative, with
